Set aside priority items that need to be cleaned and returned as quickly as possible, or need special care and attention; including any clothes, shoes, linens, electronics, or any items of particular significance or value. If there are things that need to be disposed of resulting from the loss, do not dispose of them until your insurance adjuster has had the opportunity to see the damage.
